Bella Hadid lands her first acting job, and more fashion news you missed


There comes a time in the life of every beautiful person when they are finally given the words to speak. This price fell on Adwoa Aboah last year, when she was cast in a small role in the new Boy Top series but it’s Bella Hadid who recently found her voice. Taking to Instagram this morning, the model announced that she will be making her acting debut in the third series of Rummy — an Emmy-nominated comedy on Hulu — that follows the son of Muslim immigrants from New Jersey as he navigates life in the wake of Egyptian-American culture. “Best Cast, Best Crew, Best Show,” the model said, “honored and excited.” Details of Hadid’s character and backstory are being kept under wraps at this time, but, as a “proud Muslim,” as she put it To carry magazine in 2017, the show venn charted her own life as the daughter of a Palestinian refugee.
