Kochi: Gopika Suresh from Kannur was crowned ‘Miss Kerala 2021’ in a scintillating pageant held here on Thursday night.
Ernakulam resident Livya and Thrissur daughter Gagana Gopal were named first and second runners-up respectively.
The new Miss Kerala Gopika, who beat 25 other contestants, is pursuing her studies in Bangalore.
Second runner-up Gagana is also a student enrolled at an Australian university.
The jury included filmmaker Jithu Joseph and music composer Deepak Dev.
Last year Erin Liz John from Ernakulam and MBBS student was voted Miss Kerala 2020. US resident Athira Rajiv and Aswathy Nambiar from Kannur were named first and second runners-up respectively.
