Duncan Bannatyne loves his unique sense of fashion – but he doesn’t care that others don’t.
The Dragon’s Den star is currently on vacation in Uzbekistan to celebrate his fifth wedding anniversary with his wife Nigora Whitehorn. do not.
Posing on a balcony overlooking the capital of Tashkent, Duncan looked suave in a white, long-sleeved shirt, which he unbuttoned lightly and rolled up his sleeves to keep cool in the high temperatures.
He paired the shirt with black patterned velor pants and matching shoes in traditional moccasin style.
Captioning the snap, shared with his tens of thousands of Instagram followers, he wrote: “The style? Do you like it or hate it? I don’t care!”
Duncan and Nigora returned to Uzbekistan to see his wife’s family and shared snapshots of the glorious city of Tashkent.
“Early in the evening in Tashkent … wonderful land,” he wrote next to a photo.
He shared in another post: “Evening in Tashkent with my lovely wife @nigora_bannatyne … Wonderful city.”
Duncan – who ‘repatriated’ himself and his family to Portugal when the UK went into custody last year – also confirmed to a follower that he was in Uzbekistan visiting his family.
He is full of praise for the Uzbek side of his family, describing them as “generous and caring”.
He said: “My new Uzbek family are generous, caring, generous and I am proud to be a part of what is a wonderful new world for me.”
Duncan moved permanently to his Portuguese villa in May after being locked up in the UK due to “bad timing”.
He told his supporters at the time: “I repatriated myself and my family to my home in Portugal after being locked up in London due to bad timing.”
“Fortunately I had friends who gave me a place to stay in London, but it’s good to be home… The lockdown will start to ease this Monday,” he wrote.
Duncan and Nigora also have a home in Miami, and the couple travel to Monaco on a regular basis.
