Students from Sonepat’s World University of Design (WUD) showcased their designs at a fair to raise awareness of sustainable fashion. The show, called ”BULUGU Goes POP”, was conceptualized by the university fashion club. It took place on Saturday at DLF Avenue.
The young designers presented ready-made fashion concepts, themed around “peppy blues” and “boho denims”, according to a WUD press release.
The event aimed to welcome new opportunities for students and promote fashion choices in line with sustainability.
”Our students here have used this virtue to bring out the bigger picture – that it is important to understand that earth’s resources are finite and that we must become sustainable if we are to meet the huge demand for fashion clothing by world population .
”We are honored to be able to showcase the raw talents of our university at DLF Avenue, which is such an important fashion destination, and urge everyone to believe that fashion can be attractive despite being modest and unassuming,” said Sanjay Gupta, Vice Chancellor of the World University of Design.
