The suspense is mounting as Ireland are set to take on Wales in their first match of the Six Nations tournament on Saturday.
The build-up to the match has sparked great excitement among rugby fans as attendance restrictions have been lifted, and people are eager to attend matches as they would have done in pre-pandemic times.
However, one Twitter user delighted some loyal rugby fans by sharing a matchday fashion segment that aired on Ireland AM in 2018.
She said: “Irish Fashion AM explained what to wear for the game. They hired a stylist for that.
She added, “As much as I took the f*** from this, a lot of people were staring clearly. Literally thousands of people showed up to the game wearing this.
“I just took it from a weird angle. His legs were of normal size.
The snap showed a man and woman dressed in Irish jerseys with hats and jackets.
The post got a lot of attention as people laughed at the obvious fashion choice.
While a third simply commented, “Hilarious.”
Others joked that the show should cover other events in their what to wear segment to help people make the tough decision.
They said: “When can Ireland have some fashion on what to wear for a wrestling show, I would volunteer to be in Ireland, I’m wearing a Terry wrestling t-shirt Thatcher”.
