A new haute couture collaboration is on the way. In a collection that celebrates femininity, confidence, glamor and power, Jimmy Choo and Mugler have joined forces to create a selection of shoes and boots that can turn anyone into a shoe fanatic. “A shoe completes the look and defines the character. I’ve always associated Jimmy Choo with a very strong sense of sculpture in shoes, a balance between sharpness and curve,” Mugler creative director Casey Cadwallader said in a press release. “Mugler and Jimmy Choo are both bold and sensual, and both driven by strong, confident women. That’s why this collaboration makes so much sense.

Wuxly Partners with Mikinakoos Children’s Fund to Support Indigenous Youth

Canadian outerwear brand Wuxly mobilizes to support Aboriginal youth in Northwestern Ontario. In the middle of winter, in fact, 230 winter parkas are donated to 15 different remote First Nations communities. Many of these areas do not have permanent entry and exit roads, so with the help of Mikinakoos Children’s FundWuxly hopes to combat their lack of access to winter necessities.

But this is not just any ordinary pop-up. Pangaia worked closely with Nordstrom to make this space climate positive. They measure and offset the entire carbon footprint of the retail experience (plus 10%), while accounting for employee travel, material usage, material transportation, electricity and site heating.

Parachute launches an organic collection

On February 15, the homeware brand Parachute launches its very first organic collection in Canada. In an effort to take a more consumer-conscious approach, new bedding and towels are made with GOTS-certified textiles, while maintaining the soft, luxurious feel the label is known for.
