Lady Gaga has always made the headlines with her distinct and unique style choices, and recent photoshoots for British Vogue and British Italy are no exception. According to reports, this is the first time in history that magazines have shared stars on the cover.
The 12-time Grammy and also an Oscar is a force to be reckoned with, be it her singing or acting skills. Having experienced an exceptional ascent to glory, the Bad Romance the singer recently sat down with British Vogue for an interview to discuss the role of Patrizia Reggiani in the upcoming film Gucci House.
In one of the photos, the singer-actor can be seen in a pink and white ruffle dress by Tomo Koizumi Couture Fall 2021, which was styled in matching gloves and a jeweled face accessory.
Photographed by Steven Maisel, she looked equally resplendent in an off-the-shoulder Schiaparelli haute couture gown that featured a deep neckline on the cover of British Vogue. The stunning black ensemble with taffeta sleeves was styled with a chic hairstyle by celebrity hairstylist Guido Palau. According to reports, the extravagant outfit – inspired by a 1930s perfume bottle – took almost six weeks to make!
Resembling his style in the Pop art (2013), Gaga was also seen in a multicolored matador jacket with contrasting sleeves for British Vogue. Her pale and white makeup face seemed inspired by a mixture of surrealism and pop art. Previously, Gaga had described Pop art as “a celebration and a poetic musical journey” and an exploration of the “reverse Warholian” phenomenon in pop culture.
For Vogue Italy, Lady Gaga was seen in a creation by Maison Valentino, which featured a hooded pink cocoon cape.
Gaga also wore a personalized Noel Stewart balaclava with a vinyl mask that was topped with a structured dress from Maison Alaïa.
Gucci House, starring Lady Gaga, Adam Driver, Jared Leto and more, is set for release on November 24, 2021.
