After a co-branded collection with The North Face, the parade on Hollywood Boulevard, and the creation of a hacking collection with Balenciaga which introduced the concept of partnership to the world of fashion, Gucci joins forces with the first designer of animated celebrities, limited-edition vinyl toys, and Superplastic digital collectibles to unveil a collaboration featuring a series of CryptoJanky NFTs and handmade ceramic sculptures. Titled SuperGucci, the collaboration will arrive in three parts, marking the luxury fashion house’s expansion into the world of the metaverse and NFTs. The first drop will include 10 exclusive NFT pieces, each accompanied by a ceramic sculpture. It is inspired by iconic Gucci designs, icons and symbols, reinterpreted through the lens of celebrities and synthetic artists Superplastic, Janky and Guggimon. As part of this collaboration, Gucci Vault, created under the vision of creative director Alessandro Michele, will join the metaverse. The vault will also feature its sixth collection of second-hand vintage Gucci pieces, which was first launched in September 2021. All of these items have been handpicked by Michele and the fashion house’s archivists, who have been restored and reconditioned, bringing to light several unique pieces. RELIANCE INDUSTRIES APPLY TO LAUNCH OMNICHANNEL BEAUTY PLATFORM TO TAKE ON NYKAA, MYNTRA
