Luxury brands like Armani, Gucci, Louis Vuitton, etc. are not beyond the reach of fashion enthusiasts of modest or middle income. The Fashionista app, developed by university students from the United Arab Emirates, allows people to find luxury fashion brand stores and rent their favorite dress or accessory. With a simple security deposit, they can rent luxury brands at a cheap daily rate.
The concept of clothing rentals was often about expensive tuxedos or dresses for special occasions, but luxury brands had never made this kind of deal with customers. So, Fashionista app may be a booming concept that allows people to rent dresses from various luxury stores and have them delivered to their doorstep. Pick up of the dress or accessories will also be done by dedicated representatives. There will be appropriate terms and conditions for each rental opportunity.
The marketing manager said: “We try to keep prices to a minimum, and we are also planning large discounts for our first group of users.” The app will offer loyalty programs for members in the future, which have not yet been disclosed.
The young entrepreneurs who designed the app are students from renowned universities in the United Arab Emirates. They joined this idea as a group and organized investments and sponsorships of luxury brand stores in exchange for expanding their customer base.
