LOS ANGELES, October 5, 2021 / PRNewswire / – LA Fashion Week (LAFW) will kick off its 2021 shows this week October 7 – 10e on the roof of Petersen Automobile Museum, one of the first automobile museums and historical monuments in the world to Los Angeles. The show returns with its biannual Cars & Fashion gala this Thursday October 7e with a varied mix of live music featuring Palaye Royale, artistic performances by Robert Vargas, fashion shows and more, as live events return to the City of Angels as COVID regresses nationwide.

“Fashionistas don’t just want an experience, they want a fantasy. the streetwear and red carpet fashion capital of the world. As part of this cultural renaissance, we are thrilled to be leading this movement into a premier hub for fashion, art, design and entertainment.. The season kicks off this Thursday October 7e, the property of LA Elie Madi of Yas Couture, nicknamed the “Ultimate Red-Carpet Designer”, will open the show with Jacob Meir, founder of ‘For the Stars Fashion House’. Jacob has been a leading force in LA Fashion for the past 30 years. Over the past year, Jacob’s work can be found on more prominent starlets in premieres than almost any other luxury house, including Jennifer Lopez, Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, Beyoncé, Cardi B, Carrie Underwood and much more. However, despite the pandemic that has hit Global Fashion, LAFW has partnered with L’Oreal, Stella Artois the official beer, Sonobello, Topo Chico, Banfi the official wine, New Belgium Fruit Smash, Getty, Trill, Buzzfeed, Fashion television and much more.

Most importantly, LAFW’s Diversity and Disability initiative this year features current and former Paralympians and athletes who will close the season with an innovative LA-based designer. Nicolas mayfield, nicknamed the TUPAC OF FASHION in an exclusive sports parade unlike any other. Led by disability and diversity advocate Steven Tingus, it promises to be a highlight of the entire season.

With trendy labels, strategic partners, influential guests and over 2.5 billion digital impressions per season, LAFW has truly become a high profile event focused on increasing the fashion profile of the coast. west via prominent pioneers.
