Todd and his wife Julie were cleared of tax evasion charges in Georgia last week; they were accused of evading $ 2.1 million in state taxes between 2008 and 2016, according to People.

However, they overpaid for four of those years and owed nothing for four years – they owed $ 77,000 in overdue taxes for just one year of incorrect reporting.

They signed a settlement agreement with the Department of Revenue to end the two-year investigation.

The duo ended up paying $ 110,000 in settlement – their total debt to the state, including unpaid taxes, penalties, and interest for their incorrect 2009 return.

Todd and Julie still face their federal charges for allegedly evading federal taxes during the same period.

They also focus their attention on Joshua Waites, the director of the Georgia Department of Revenue’s office of special investigations.

However, according to insiders from TMZLindsie only spoke to Joshua to protect her six-year-old son, Jackson, from seeing her fall and did not give her ex-father “dirt”.

In August, Todd and Julie were indicted by a grand jury with tax evasion, bank fraud conspiracy and wire fraud.

They surrendered and a few hours later they pleaded not guilty.

A few weeks earlier, Lindsie had accused her father and brother Chase of threatening to post a sex tape of her if she did not serve as an alibi for their alleged tax evasion.
