Tommy Hilfiger honored at this year’s Fashion Awards
This year’s Fashion Awards will be back in style, returning to the Royal Albert Hall in November, where the best in fashion will fly to the city – and where a number of big names will be celebrated.
And, we now also get a first look at what to expect at this year’s event with the British Fashion Council confirming that Tommy Hilfiger will be honored with the Excellence Award.
The American designer will be recognized for his outstanding contribution to the global fashion industry and his continued commitment to create an inclusive brand that stands up for people of all walks of life and experience.
“As a designer and founder of one of the world’s most recognized lifestyle companies, Hilfiger is driven by an ever-optimistic vision to break convention and celebrate individuality,” the BFC statement read. “From innovative partnerships and celebrity support to promoting inclusion and diversity in the fashion industry and to pioneering sustainability initiatives, he has been one of the most influential leaders of the two. centuries and an inspiration for the next generation. “

The Fashion Awards, which had to be moved online last year due to lockdown restrictions, which saw the winners honored via video instead, will return to its full glamorous format this year, but will also expand on a more global scale.
